Medium: Oils and Pastels

I describe my art style as impressionistic. I am drawn to intimate landscapes and scenes that evoke nostalgia, such as eclectic mailboxes and potting sheds. I am also drawn to the amazing natural sights we are blessed with in Northwest Georgia, the rivers, creeks, waterfalls, and old barns that surround us. In addition to offering original pieces, I offer inexpensive but framed small studies, as well as unframed prints and cards of some of my work, so there is something for everyone.

I’m inspired by scenes representing delightful pockets of nature, nostalgia, and charm. My paintings often have dramatic light or texture and show a relationship between contrasts, such as the manmade structure overgrown with wild vines.
